Subject: Condolences and solidarity following the attack in Sydney

On behalf of the OJCM (Consultative Body of Jews, Christians and Muslims), we wish to express our
deep shock and abhorrence at the antisemitic attack in Sydney. Our thoughts are with everyone who
has been affected by this attack, those who were harmed, their loved ones, and the wider Jewish
community.
The festival of Hanukkah reminds us that the light of peace and human dignity does not go out, even
in difficult times. That is our hope and our prayer for our world.
